CC&M First Design Team Project

I hope all of you had a good weekend of stamping. I know I sure did, working on my GDT projects for Creative Cuts and More. Today is my first project for my guest spot over at Creative Cuts and More. I used the French Fry Box as one of my first projects to alter. It was very easy to assemble by the scoring lines and the box stands by itself which I love. I WILL be buying more of these to alter in the future!!
First is a pic of the box empty. Second is chipboard and polyshrink paper clips I made to fit inside the box. I'm not very happy with how the clips turned out, but you can tell me what you think.
As you can see from the picture I used a scalloped MS border along the top of the box. I used my Clear Dollar Stamp for the image on the front of the box. Oval punch with My Favorite Things sentiment above it.
For the clips I stamped the same CDS image on the paper hearts and adhered it to the chipboard with MogPodge. I stamped the same image on the polyshrink hearts before I put them into the oven. Sprayed them with a sealer after they came out, which was still alittle late. The ink had started to run by then. Once dry, I put a layer of glue onto the heart and added some DD glitter. All of these items except for the stamps and embellishments are from CC&M.
Hope this makes sense!
Please visit Terry's store for a wild ride into dye cuts!! She has almost every dye cut known to man with a ton of paper colors to choose from.
Thanks for stopping by today!Have a good evening!!
