Happy Friday!
I was asked by my grandmother if I could make her a wedding card. A chance to make cards, of course I said yes.
I saw this to die for DP at Archiver's this week and thought it would work perfectly for a wedding card. I didn't want to cover up the DP's pretty images, so I stamped very little and created details instead. I have been dying to try the ruffled ribbon technique and I finally got the chance on this card. Ashley Cannon Newell's video is where I learned how to create it. I absolutely LOVE it. So easy yet so elegant! I couldn't help but to sprinkle lace on the card since the DP is engulfed in lace. I added some paper flowers and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. I really like the end result! The only element I wish I could have added to the card would have been sewing, but I have not mastered sewing on cards yet. Well at least not in a straight line anyway =)
Have a wonderful weekend!
