Creative Cuts and More Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Creative Cuts and More Blog Hop. You should have arrived from Lisa's blog. If you haven't, you will definitely want to start at the beginning of the hop. You will not want to miss the other projects the Design Team/Guest Design Team members have in store for you this month. Here is the link to the beginning over at the Die Cut Diva blog. If you get lost anywhere along the way, head back to the beginning (DCD blog) where there is a complete list. From here you will continue to Lindsay's blog.

I am one of the Guest Designers for Creative Cuts and More this month. I am continuing my little treat projects here with this Creel Die Cut Box. When I saw this cute box I knew it had to be turned into a purse! I had this die cut made out of the Romance Textured Cardstock. I decorated it with Basic Grey cardstock, used a Cuttlebug Flower Die Cut and a strip of Tacky Tape sprinkled with glitter. I added some finishing touches with the Rhinestones on the corners and in the middle of the flower.

Now with every purse comes chocolate money, right? :) I had the idea to alter these chocolate coins when I saw everyone altering the round chocolate mints. I used my Spellbinders die cuts and attached them to the front and back of each coin. I stamped a Love sentiment on a couple, paper pierced the outside edges, used a heart punch and added a couple rhinestones for bling. What girl wouldn't love bling on her purse!

This is my second project, again with the treat theme. This is a Ghiraradelli chocolate bar. I used the one which comes in a box. I wrapped a plain piece of white card stock around the bar first. Next I wrapped one of CC&M's Mix and Match Mini Album Covers, cut out of Velvet Bubble Gum card stock, around the bar. I added a strip of white paper which I used a border punch on and added a scrap of the left over Album cover. I added a ribbon and tied in a bow. I used more Spellbinders die cuts and topped those off with another CC&M Small Chipboard Heart. I painted the heart with Acrylic paint and stamped the sentiment onto the heart with Brown Stazon Ink.
Now it is your turn to create something wonderful with Die Cuts! You must post a comment to each members projects AND create a project using a Valentine Themed Die Cut for your chance to win. Post a comment on the Die Cut Diva Blog with a direct link to your project by Monday, January 18th, for your chance to win a Variety Package of Products ($15 value) from CC&M.
Now you will want to head on over to Lindsay's blog to continue the hop........

Purple Popcorn Box

Hi girls! Today I am showing you 1 of my 4 projects I designed for my guest spot this month over at Creative Cuts and More. If you haven't been to CC&M, you need to check it out! They have a die cut for every need and that isn't the hardest decision you will have to make. Picking the color and texture of card stock you would like the die cut in could take you hours with all your choices.
I decided I wanted to make little snack projects this time around, so all my die cuts are centered around food :) This is the Popcorn Die Cut Box. I used Sparkleberry Delight smooth card stock. I stamped my main image onto a Labels One Nestabilitie, colored the image in, folded around die cut and wrapped ribbon around, tying it in a bow on the side. As you can see in the first picture, I hand dipped pretzels into white chocolate and added some sprinkles. I fulled the box with them. I used the same ribbon from around the box to tie up the plastic pretzel bag. I was thinking this would make a cute little Easter gift for someone. I know, Easter is far away but I'm always thinking ahead as I'm a planner :)

The second picture is the Popcorn Box all by itself. So you can see more of the stamped images and ribbon.

For my third small image, I wanted to show how easily the box closes. I stamped a flower image, cut it out and popped it on top of the closure.
Thanks for stopping by today! We will be starting the Creative Cuts and More blog hop here on Monday morning so please return to give yourself a chance at winning a cute little prize.
